By accessing our website, purchasing our products, or engaging in a direct transaction with Thread & Crumb, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"), to the extent applicable to your transaction.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or purchasing our products. If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from using our website or placing an order.

These Terms apply to purchases made directly through our website, at in-person markets and events, and through other direct sales channels. Purchases made through third-party marketplaces, including Faire, Etsy, and TikTok Shop, are subject to the applicable marketplace's terms and policies.

1. General Conditions

By using our website or purchasing from Thread & Crumb, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a purchase agreement under applicable law.

We reserve the right to refuse service, decline transactions, limit quantities, or cancel orders when reasonably necessary, including in cases involving suspected fraud, inaccurate information, inventory limitations, pricing errors, or violations of these Terms.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will issue a refund for the canceled items to the original payment method.

We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or limit products and services without prior notice, subject to applicable law and our obligations concerning existing orders.

2. Products & Availability

Thread & Crumb specializes in handcrafted products made in small batches.

Because our products are handmade, slight variations in appearance, color, texture, weight, or finish may occur. These natural variations are part of the handcrafted nature of our products and do not necessarily indicate a defect.

We make reasonable efforts to display product photographs, descriptions, and information accurately. However, colors and appearances may vary depending on your screen settings, lighting, and individual perception.

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue products, adjust quantities, or modify our offerings at any time.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you to discuss available options, including a replacement, modification, or refund.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in the currency indicated at checkout and are subject to change without notice.

Applicable taxes, shipping fees, delivery charges, and other costs will be displayed during checkout when required.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or inaccuracies, including after an order has been submitted. If a pricing error affects your order, we may contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the corrected price or cancel the affected item for a refund.

Payment must be successfully completed before an order is processed unless alternative arrangements have been expressly agreed upon.

We use third-party payment processors to securely process transactions. Payment information is handled in accordance with the applicable processor's terms and privacy practices.

4. Orders & Order Acceptance

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance or fulfillment.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders for legitimate business reasons, including inventory shortages, suspected fraudulent activity, inaccurate customer information, shipping restrictions, or other circumstances preventing fulfillment.

If an order is canceled by Thread & Crumb after payment has been collected, the canceled portion will be refunded to the original payment method.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete billing, shipping, and contact information.

5. Custom & Personalized Orders

Thread & Crumb offers custom and personalized products, including items created according to a customer's individual specifications.

All custom and personalized orders are final sale and cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded once placed, including within the standard 24-hour cancellation window.

This restriction applies to customer-requested cancellations or changes and does not limit remedies for products that are damaged, defective, incorrect, or otherwise covered by applicable law.

Customers are responsible for reviewing and confirming all customization details before submitting an order.

If a custom order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us at support@threadandcrumb.com within 48 hours of delivery so we can review the issue.

Regular retail products handcrafted after purchase are not automatically considered custom orders.

6. Order Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

Standard retail orders may be canceled or modified within 24 hours of purchase.

Eligible cancellations within this period will receive a full refund to the original payment method.

Custom and personalized orders are excluded from this cancellation window.

Due to the handmade nature of our products, all sales are final, except as otherwise stated in our Return & Refund Policy or required by applicable law.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for changes of mind, fragrance preferences, or other personal preferences.

If a product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

7. Shipping, Local Pickup & Delivery

Thread & Crumb currently ships to the United States and Canada.

Our standard order processing time is 5–7 business days, which may increase to 7–10 business days during peak seasons or periods of increased demand.

Shipping transit times are separate from processing times and may vary based on location, carrier, and external circumstances.

We also offer complimentary local pickup and $10 local delivery within our designated service area.

Shipping rates, delivery eligibility, and applicable fees are provided at checkout.

International customers may be responsible for applicable customs duties, import taxes, or other fees unless collected at checkout.

8. Product Safety & Proper Use

Our products are intended to be used only as directed.

Customers are responsible for reviewing and following all product labels, safety instructions, warnings, and recommended usage guidelines.

Candles & Wax Products

Candles contain an open flame and must be used responsibly.

Always follow the safety instructions provided with your candle, including keeping burning candles within sight, away from flammable materials, and out of reach of children and pets.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Wax melts must be used only in appropriate warming devices according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Room Sprays & Home Fragrance Products

Room sprays and other home fragrance products must be used according to their product instructions.

Avoid direct contact with eyes, ingestion, and use on surfaces or materials not recommended on the product label.

Keep fragrance products out of reach of children and pets.

Tallow Skincare & Body Products

Our skincare products are intended for external use only unless otherwise expressly indicated.

Customers should review ingredient lists before use, particularly if they have known allergies or sensitivities.

We recommend patch testing new skincare products before widespread use.

Discontinue use if irritation or an adverse reaction occurs.

Our skincare products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from defective products or applicable consumer protection laws.

9. Allergies & Individual Sensitivities

Thread & Crumb uses a variety of natural ingredients, fragrance oils, essential oils, and other materials in its products.

Individual sensitivities and allergic reactions may vary.

Customers are responsible for reviewing available ingredient information and contacting us before purchasing if they have questions about a particular ingredient or product.

While we take care in our production processes, we cannot guarantee that every product will be suitable for every individual.
